Biography:

Mr. Thornburg practices in the area of patent, trademark, trade secrets, copyright and technology related litigation. He also represents clients in the area of patent and trademark prosecution, Internet issues, and client counseling. Mr. Thornburg Chairs the Florida Bar’s Computer Law Committee, and serves on the Executive Counsel of the Business Law Section. He also serves on the Florida Supreme Court’s Trial Technology Committee, and the Florida Bar Civil Rules Subcommittee on Electronic Discovery.

Mr. Thornburg is an active lecturer on topics relating to intellectual property and electronic discovery. He has served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Florida College of Law, the Florida State University College of Law, and the University of Notre Dame College of Engineering. While in law school, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy (2002) and President of the Florida Intellectual Property Law Association (2001). His previous experience includes working as an Associate Engineer in Bionetics for the NASA Space Life Sciences Division, Kennedy Space Center (1999).
